Spanish Fork City offers two excellent ways to boost your emergency skills:


Basic Life Support (BLS) Classes

Gain life-saving skills and earn a two-year certification through the American Heart Association’s Basic Life Support (BLS) course. Whether for work, volunteering, or personal peace of mind, this course prepares you to respond confidently in emergency situations.

Topics Covered:

  • CPR for adults, children, and infants

  • Rescue breathing

  • AED usage

  • Responding to choking

  • Managing opioid overdoses

Course Info:

  • When: Last Thursday of every month

  • Cost: $45 per person

  • Certification: Two-year certification through the American Heart Association

Emergency Preparedness Class Series

Join us for a free monthly class series at the Spanish Fork Library covering the key areas of emergency preparedness. Taught by local experts, each session focuses on a new topic to help you and your family prepare for the unexpected.
