January 4th from 2-4 PM
Join us for a spellbinding event at our Wicked Hangout on January 4th at 2 p.m.! Enjoy themed drinks, create magical charm bracelets and witch hats, test your Wicked knowledge, and much more! There's so much to do, you'll be defying gravity! This event is for ages 11-111 ;) and will be held in the teen program room. Please, no children under the age of 11. Registration is not required.


January 17th from 4-6 PM
Join us for a creative night where we'll blend Greek mythology with artistic flair. Create your own mythology inspired craft. You can create a zodiac bookmark or leather cuff, a laurel leaf crown, or a mini terrarium. There will also be snacks. No matter your sing, it's written in the stars- this is an evening you won't want to miss! This event is for ages 13-18 and registration is not required.

Cozy up with books this winter! Embark on a magical winter reading adventure! As snowflakes fall and frosty winds whisper outsides, warm up with your favorite books and dive into tales that sparkle like icicles in the sun. For every page you turn, you'll get closer to earning exciting prizes.  Join the challenge, and let your imagination wander into a wonderland of stories. Register on the Beanstack Tracker app or at the library. Registration begins February 1st.

Genre: Historical Fiction
Beyond the Book is a reading and journaling club for teen girls ages 13-18 and their adult female guardian/family member. Teen girls may join the group on their own if they wish. Each group member will pick what they want to read within the genre the librarian selects. We will snack as we journal and chat about life and what we read. We will supply the stationary and a journal if needed. Registration is required and space is limited. BYOC Movie Night (bring your own craft)
January 28 from 6-8 PM
Get comfy and creative at our new movie night! Bring your favorite craft and work on it while we watch the 1994 Little Women (PG). Sip cocoa, craft, and immerse yourself in the world of the March sisters. This cozy event is for ages 11 and up. Youth groups with leaders are welcome. Registration is not required. 


Mythmaker's Guild
Next Meetings: January 2nd, 16th, and 30th from 6-8 PM
This club aims to empower teen writers by fostering a supportive and collaborative environment. Our mission is to help each other enhance our writing skills through critiques, idea-sharing, and open discussions. The club meets every other Thursday. Once a month we will have a local author attend the meeting to provide insight and answer your questions. This club is for teens ages 13-18 and registration is required. Tasha's Craft Corner
February 13th 5-6 PM
Come and express your creativity at the monthly craft club. There will be a new craft each month. In February we will be creating adorable mini valentine mailboxes. This club is for teens ages 13-18 and is led by Tasha, a teen volunteer. Registration is not required. 


Chess Club
January 21st 6-8 PM
This club is for ages 8+ and for all skill levels. Those between 8-12 years only must be accompanied by an adult. We have chess boards, but you may bring your own. The club will meet the third Tuesday of each month from 6-8 PM in the teen program room. This club does not provide a chess instructor at this time. Registration is not required.
