Spanish Fork Cemetery
The Spanish Fork Cemetery is a 32-acre green space in the heart of the City with over 12,000 headstones. The cemetery has been a final resting place since the first burial in 1853. The cemetery was officially established in 1868 with the design and formation of blocks one through four.
Shepherd Hook Policy
Spanish Fork City allows the use of shepherd hooks and vertical structures for decorations the week of Memorial Day and from November 1 - March 1 only. Shepherd hooks & vertical structures will not be allowed during the lawn maintenance season (March 2 - October 31).

How do I purchase plots in the Spanish Fork Cemetery?
Plots are purchased at the City Office Building (40 S. Main St.) We highly encourage patrons to set an appointment with cemetery staff to look at available block and lot positions prior to your purchase. You can set an appointment with the cemetery staff by calling 801-830-8457.
What rules do I have to follow when decorating a loved one's grave?

When are shepherd hooks allowed at the cemetery?
Shepherd hooks and vertical structures are allowed in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery from November 1 through March 1 and the Wednesday before Memorial Day through the Sunday following Memorial Day. More information on this policy can be found in our Decorations Policy document.

The cemetery is open daily from dawn to dusk. Our office is open from 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
