Join us for the 32nd Annual
Festival of Lights
A beloved tradition returns this holiday season with an important change. Due to the popularity of our Festival of Lights event, we have moved to an advanced ticketing system.
Beginning November 1, you will be able to pay for and reserve a time to see the Festival of Lights easily through sfcitytix.com.
Reservation times will be in half-hour increments during open times, and you will be able to see which times are sold out, filling up quickly, or still have plenty of availability.
If you try to get in without an advanced ticketing time, you will pay an additional booth fee and run the risk of not getting in.
For additional information please contact the Parks & Recreation Office at 801-804-4600.
Schedule
The Festival of Lights will run nightly (including Sundays) from Thanksgiving night (Nov 28), to New Year's (Jan 1) from 6 - 10 p.m.
Advance Reservation
$10 per single-family vehicle
$10 per senior facility vehicle
$25 per commercial van or vehicle towing a trailer ($25 per trailer)

Advance Ticketing Q&A
Why is this change being made?
Advanced ticketing allows Festival of Lights staff to provide a better experience for patrons, including expedited time at the gate and managing the line of vehicles.
What if I can't come on the day I have a ticket?
No exchanges or refunds will be given.
Can I still get in without an advance ticket?
Depending on the busyness of the night, perhaps. However, an admission surcharge will be added to your ticket at the gate.
Where can I purchase tickets?
Tickets will be available at sfcitytix.com beginning November 1.
How do I purchase a gift certificate?
To purchase gift certificates go to sfcitytix.com and proceed like you are purchasing a ticket to the Festival of Lights. At the top of the list of dates you will see the Gift Certificate option, select this rather than one of the nights. The process from here is the same as if you were purchasing a ticket.
How do gift certificates work?
Once purchased, you may email or print the certificate. The gift recipient may then use the code located on the gift certificate to purchase their ticket online for the specific date and time they wish to attend the event.
Can I buy tickets in bulk for my company or church group?
Yes, you may use the gift certificate option to purchase several gift certificates. Gift certificates will print four to a page and will each have their own unique code that can be redeemed online.
If I received a gift certificate for $10.00 but I’m bringing a trailer, how do I pay the difference?
When you redeem your gift certificate online, select the type of vehicle that you intend to bring. During the checkout process, enter the discount code. The $10.00 will be subtracted from your total leaving you with the balance owed.
