After Monday evening's intense winds, there are a number of downed trees and branches throughout town. Spanish Fork City has coordinated with the South Utah Valley Solid Waste District to help residents dispose of their tree/branch debris.
Debris disposal will run through the Green Waste Voucher program. Each resident has 3 of these vouchers to use throughout the year. Usually, the voucher limits residents on the size and weight of the green waste load. Until July 15, 2023, the size and weight limits will be waived for tree debris from the windstorm.
This means you can print out a green waste voucher (spanishfork.org/greenwaste) and take your downed tree(s) to the transfer station (2450 W 400 S, Springville, Utah 84663) for free. Just make sure your load is covered or secured to avoid a fee.
If you have questions or are in need of more vouchers, please call or text 801-804-4500.
