Firework Restrictions

Days and Times Fireworks Are Permitted
The State of Utah regulates the days and hours of the day when fireworks can be discharged.

  • July 2-5, 11 a.m.- 11 p.m. On July 4, hours are extended until midnight.
  • July 22-25, 11 a.m.- 11 p.m.  On July 24, hours are extended until midnight.
  • December 31 (11 p.m. - 1 a.m. January 1)
  • Chinese New Year's Eve (11 p.m. - 1 a.m. the following day)
Where can you do fireworks?
  1. The use of fireworks is prohibited in all of the Industrial 3 (I-3) zones;
  2. The use of fireworks is prohibited in all areas south of the Spanish Fork River from the west end of The Oaks at Spanish Fork Golf Course, eastwardly to the city limits;
  3. The use of fireworks is prohibited within 200 feet of any open field, unimproved lot with dry vegetation, or a lot with a vacant building and dry vegetative growth on the lot.
