Traffic Accident Highway 6 & Center Street.
On October 25, 2023 at 2:20 PM Spanish Fork Police, Fire and EMS were dispatched to a traffic accident at Highway 6 & Center Street. It was reported that a Semi Truck and passenger car were involved. Officers learned that the Semi Truck was West on Highway 6 and was being driven by a 36 year old male who was uninjured. The passenger car was East on Highway 6 attempting to turn left. The driver of the passenger car was a 50 year old female. The driver was extricated from the vehicle and transported to a local hospital in critical condition. There were also two dogs in the passenger car. Unfortunately one of the dogs passed away and the other was taken to a local Veterinarian for treatment. The accident is still under investigation and there will be traffic congestion in the area.
